lung surgery #2

Just to say I had my #2 operation Monday to remove the lung met from right lobe.  The schedule and routine was same as July. I am now home and gingerly breathing and trying to move normally.  This one a bit more painful than #1 but I think it is because it was on my right and I am so right dominant.

My son was my caretaker Monday.  We decided that my spouse was still not in good enough shape to spend a full day driving and at the hospital, so the son got his initiation into the medical world with which we have become so familiar.  He did well by me and I appreciated his presence.  He then came home and spent that night and next day with his Dad.  He continues to work on sobriety and so far, so good.  I take it ODAT and have tried not to have excessive expectations.

Glad to be home and back on-line.

Joyoma,

You continue to be in my prayers. I am so happy to hear that your son was there for you and is working on his sobriety. One day at a time is so vital at this point in your physical recovery and being gentle with yourself about your expectations is wonderful to read.

Take care my dear Joyoma. Your post was so timely for me, and helped me to put my own situation into perspective.

Good to hear from you once again, with love always,
Suzannah

(((((Joyoma)))),

Pipers and I wish you a very speedy recovery.  Take extra good care of yourself.  Let others help you.  I know that can be hard for us.  I'm glad your son was there for you.  I wish him continued success on his sobriety.  Much love and blessings to you and your family.

Live strong,

Happy that you are back in your own home and you can put #2 surgery behind you. I was so happy to hear the role your son played in this with you and his dad.

Take care,
Gail
