Today I had the unfortunate position of being stuck with someone else's mistake at work. I had an idea I might be. I have been there and done that many times.
On the other hand since I have been working really super hard to get through many of the obstacles in front of me a request I asked for to do with the way I plan to do thanksgiving was granted. The holidays are really really hard on me and I need to plan ahead to get through them.
I have to remember that every day there is good and bad. No day is going to be all great and no day is going to be all bad either.
You inspire me with your ternacity. I am so pleased that although you were left with the rough - being stuck with someone else's mistake - you had the reward of having your Thanksgiving plan granted.
If I were able I would love to be there to celebrate Thanksgiving with you. I have never experienced an American Thanksgiving and it is something I have always looked up to, for you seem to have a wonderful time.
The nearest I might relate this time to is our Harvest Festival, when we celebrate the safely gathering in of the harvest crops from the fields.
Maresie, I am praying that this Thanksgiving will not be painful, not be sad, not be difficult or lonely for you but that you feel, not only, my arms stretching out across the waters to you on that special ocassion but all the other members of this family who will be doing too.
