Abf returned to his group this today, after missing 2 weeks worth.  He had drill this weekend, and by nothing short of a miracle, did not get demoted.  This gave him a reason to celebrate...which he did.  I went down to the shore with a girlfriend of mine on Sunday and when I got home, there he was, passed out cold.  I left him there, ate my dinner and went to bed...it felt good.  He did tell me the next morning that yes he had been drinking the night before...he admitted this after I placed the alcohol filled cup in front of his plate.  I said nothing, I just put it there.  He also managed to lose several hundred dollars in his travels from here to the liquor store.
His drinking binge did not end on Sunday, but continued into yesterday and last night as well.  (he got his re-enlistment bonus money last Wednesday).
He went to his group meeting this morning at 9:30am and they did breathalizer test and lo and behold, after sleeping for 9 hours, he blew a .04.  They took his keys away.  Now he is waiting to get them back, and has been for about 3hrs now.  
Since the July 4th mishap, he has not managed to stay sober for more than 2-3 weeks..I have no pity for him anymore, I have no heartbreak, and mostly no trust or respect for him.  
My plan is coming together and soon I will be on my way, to allow him the chance to fall on his own, and not to take me with him.  
Im sorry this was so long, and I thank all of you for taking the time to read it.
I am calm, more calm than I have been in a long time....I know I will be free....soon.
