to exchange
information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
It is so easy for me to get overwhelmed with 5 online classes, I have my disability hearing next month (finally), and always practicing detachment from the youngest AD.
For those of us taking online classes, we can find a proctor to monitor our final exams vs. driving to the campus. Yesterday I contacted the director of the adult education center to see if he would act as proctor, and he will!
That is such a relief to have out of the way as we were urged to find our proctors early. I have all my forms printed out for him and will take those up today.
I only have one class to catch up on now, and that is Medical Terminology. Considering I was already one week behind in two classes before the text book/software dilemna was resolved, that's pretty good for me!
My instructor in that class was willing to extend the first week's deadlines to next Sunday, but I told her I would catch up today as I don't want to fall any further behind.
I got a 95% on my chapter test in MicroComputer Aps this morning, so that was a terrific way to start my day!

I learned here that it's ok to ask for help. I learned in an A family that it's not, that they were unpredictable, unreliable. But mostly I have had the benefit of asking and receiving help from my college setting especially when you are a student who goes the extra mile.
