Just wanted to let you all know, Piper was given a clean bill of health today! She even managed to gain back some weight. The vet was very pleased.
I could tell she was getting back to her normal self. Last Sunday when I came home from work, I walked into the bedroom to find not one, but two chipmunks on the floor! The mighty hunter struck again. Of course the one on the side of her Dadder's bed was completely intact. The one on my side was not so pretty. A tail here, a leg there, etc. She has always done it that way. She's never left the intact ones on my side. Nope always the gross ones. What's wrong with that picture? Tim was the hunter, not I! lol So she has spent the day outside, and of course, brings back a mole. At least I had the screen door closed. Fall is here as she is in full hunting mode. Thank you again for all your love and prayers for both of us. Love and blessings to you, your families and of course, all the animals.
Live strong, Karilynn & Pipers Kitty

I bet she was grieving - I'm sure she misses him too. It must be so nice to see her back in action.
My old, diabetic, nearly blind kitty, with only one tooth in front, brought back a very dead mouse the other day - I didn't know she still had it in her. In fact, I wish she didn't, it was very gross....
So good to hear Pipers has a clean bill of health. I've been thinking lots about you two lately...I know you must feel a sense of relief now. Tell Pipers that Marm says "meow" and is also happy that Pipers is doing much better. Keeping you in my prayers and thoughts. love, rosie
Karilynn, I am so VERY happy that Piper is better. I know how awful it is to have a sick "baby". You may have read that my 7 year old, Shay, recently passed. So very traumatic. Also my 5 year old cat, Cal, was sick about 5 months ago and was diagnosed with acute kindey failure. Which is not as bad as you might think by the way it sounds. He was very sick and I found him laying in a puddle of water by the water dish, so I knew he was ill. But took him to the vet, he was treated and I brought him home, still very ill but the vet felt that he would recover better at home in his familiar environment. It was true. He has fully recovered and is much stronger that he was before. I am so glad to hear that Piper is ready to run and pounce, sounds good and normal to me, . Yes yukky at times but ohhh soo loving!!!
Keeping you and Piper in my thoughts and prayers!!!
((((((((((((((((Kari and My Pipers))))))))))))))))),
What fantastic news!!!!!!!!!!
Pipers reminds me of my children. They would get sick and I would be frantic exhausting myself to take good care of them. Then all at once, they'd be miraculously over whatever ailment they had and back to their old selves.
Now Mom on the other hand looked like a wreck and felt like one too. Glad Pipers is back on track.
Now it's your turn sweetie, Take really good care of Piper's Mom will you please?
Live strong Lady, love ya, Maria
