Hello Friends,

I know there are many on this board who feel stuck in thier lives and desire to move forward toward independence.  Well, I was watching the news this morning and saw a segment that compelled me to run here and post to you all.  There are 2 million dollars worth of full ride scholarships available for working moms who want to get an online education.  If you google Project Working Mom, you should be able to get right to the site.  The deadline is Aug. 31.  Go! Go! GO!

Thank you LOU!!!! I just went and applied! I even credited you with directing me to their site (My friend Loupiness...LOL) I didn't say that! Just that a good friend directed me!!

I am currently enrolled online but this might be able to help with repayment ideas and/or specific grants for my next semesters!!!!

Great idea, Lou! I am very blessed in that Vocational Rehabilitation is helping me with the expense of college!

Here is an opportunity for me to plug WOMEN and EDUCATION. Women NEED as many degrees and as much higher education as they can get in order to have as many options as possible throughout their lifetimes. If you have daughters and/or nieces, please please please be supportive of them getting as much higher education as possible. We need to invest in ourselves and our daughters as much as possible, its NEVER a bad/poor investment! thank you for listening, J.
