Just checked my e-mail today after being out of town for several days. I had given up on this job because it is going on 4 weeks since I turned my application in. This job reopened so this is the second time around. So I have an interview next Friday. Woohoo! I haven't interviewed in years. I did buy a new outfit with matching shoes earlier this summer. I got a haircut and hope to get a manicure. lol. I have been reading some literature about their business and current issues. I know some of the people in the office and they are familiar with my work.
My life could get complicated. If offered a job I would have to move out of my house. Probably have to purchase a mobile home. Would have to commute 30 miles one way in the winter. Work longer hours. I could do this if it is for way more money. I have a lot to think about. I think that I am futurizing. There is just a little concern that I may be trying to do a geographical to get away from my AHsober (we work at the same company, we don't see each other that much but it makes me uncomfortable answering questions about him).Glad that I have a recovery program to help me along. I plan to take care of myself, prepare as much as I can, make some phone calls about housing and used cars, and meditate alot with my higher power. Wish me luck.
I don't think it is considered a "geographical" if you know why you are moving. Like if you are discontent and just up and move thinking that the move is the answer to all your problems, well, that is a "geographical". But, moving to create a better opportunity and a more content life for yourself is called "normal" and "good" and is "taking care of you". Hmmm, I think I will go look at houses in different cities again...
Good luck with the interview and get that manicure even if it is after the fact!!!!!!
Good luck on your interview!! I agree with serendipity. You don't sound like you are running from anything, more that you are exploring all options and putting yourself out there, which is great!
Nancy- very cool- sounds great! Just one day at a time! My very best thoughts and prayers are with you. You are exactly where you are supposed to be; enjoy your time. Hugs, J.
You know if you get the job and decide that you can't make it work for whatever reasons, that's okay. Only you know what is best for you. Good luck with the interview. Pipers Kitty and I have our fingers, toes, paws and tail crossed for good luck. Love and blessings to you and your family.
Live strong, Karilynn & Pipers Kitty
