situation with step mother and father

Dear All,
The situation with my step-mother's health has worsened. The initial lung cancer has now spread to the brain. She is coming home on Monday and I have managed to detach and realise that alcoholism is an illness like any other. I am going to do the taxiing, collecting her daughters at the airport and dropping them back in order to make sure that she has care at all times. One of the symptoms of this is the falling down and confusion etc. Funny enough she had all these already if you know what I mean. Apart from that I will pray for her and my father and wish them well in helping her last moments be as good as possible. Send on your prayers and if any of you are familiar with this type of secondary cancer, please pm me as I would like to be as helpful, not intrusive as possible in a detached non-controlling way.
