the kids are coming back

confused Hello all

Well I just wanted to say I am going and getting the kids tomorrow to come back with me.  They were only going to stay a couple of days with their dad but we decided to let them stay longer because they start school at the end of the week and he wont be able to be around them as much.  I really have missed them and it has been hard but I only feel it was right to give him some quality time with them because as I have said before he is an awesome father to them and I want that to continue.  I am really dreading picking them up because that means I have to face him and honsetly that is what is so hard because I love him so much and miss him awfully but in the same instance I know we cant be together so what I am going to do I dont know... I guess what I always do and just deal with it.  I used the THINK process last time so I will probably do that again because it worked once maybe it will again all I can do is try.  Well maybe all will go well tomorrow I hope so.

((((Tasha))))),
Good girl use THINK....and all the other tools you have picked up here.

Read some literature before you go...can you talk to an alanon friend before you go?

What has been working for me in my situation lately is just keeping my mouth shut. It is hard..but it works. I can't particpate in a fight if I don't open my mouth. I watch what I say.

I will be thinking of you.

Have fun with your kidos, I am sure they will be glad to see you.

Yours in recovery,
Mandy
