It's been along time since I learned that thru all of the crises and chaos in my life my HP never left. I found out what that feeling behind me was when I stopped running around nuts and stood still. That gentle bump at my back was my HP gently rear ending me because my HP was following so close. LOL
I never out distanced my HP and sometimes just to find out if my needs are HP's concern I will ask out loud.
Today was a very clear, hot, dry day on the Big Island. Just the kind of day I needed to come near to finishing a very stubborn troublesome roof that I have been restoring for a customer who is having severe relapse problems. That customer wasn't out so I had no interruptions to just go ahead and work. I'm up on what is a 3rd floor roof and the view is expansive. The house is up near the mountains and that means clouds. Out in the distance is the Pacific Ocean and inbetween you can see every tree that God has planted on the East Side. I work with wet materials and the very very last thing I want is rain which is the very very first thing the island needs right now and soooooo.... I was getting close to finishing for the day and I looked up just to check and sure enough there were clouds with dark heavy bottoms and the wind was blowing them right to me, over me. So I said to my HP... not now please just give me an hour or so, so that this material won't wash off. I felt a few drops and then said "I remember a time when I asked for the same thing during my son's outside wedding and a storm went backward. I don't know if this is as important it's your decision." That was all. I told myself, "It's faith and continue working as if..." The rain clouds still were overhead, just as dark as at first and the rain stopped. That was at about 3pm. I got off the roof, cleaned my tools, packed up and left. Half a mile down the hill it was raining but that was half a mile away from the roof. It's been an hour and last time I looked the area was clear. I got what a needed and so did others who are dry. The roof is dry by now. We'll be back up on it tomorrow. Any need to ask who the other person in "We will" is?

Thanks for sharing your miracle today. When we start looking it is quite a wonder of them around. Reasuring to be heard so well and so quickly - gives hope a boost and I needed that.

I needed a story such as yours. Just this morning I was praying for something pretty dire, but not impossible, and I was thinking how I am not giving God enough lead time. Thanks for that.
