thanks for that..i am in the grips of something i do not fully understand yet..and letting go of it..or things is difficult for me..not certain what to keep and wjhat to release
i guess keep the good and release the bad is about as simple as i can put it to myself
letting go to me means talking my own words...my own voice and my own emotions
letting go means leaving...possibly..a relationship which at times seems strained and miserable
but i think letting go means me letting go of patterns of behaviour i have carried around for a long long time
i still need need need to understand my role in the situations that get me down
i will keep trying and doing..loving caring working and above all giving my life and time to the will of my higher power who at times seems threatening to me..i guess that is simply the fear which i need to deal with..understand and let go
Thanks for sharing that with us, it was a very touching and true statement about letting go. Letting go for me is a constant, as we have decided to sell a farm that has been in our family for five generations. Any and everything i can read on Letting go and Letting God is a help to me in this time of change. Thanks for adding to the things I can hold on to for hope. java
coping.org has a great worksheet on letting go and detachment. My home group used it as a guideline for a very long study on letting go and detachment. It was a great study. I wish I'd have had this worksheet when I first came into program it really has helped me understand how to let go and how to detach.
