Yea, it is that time of year again! I am very happy after a long winter! Actually we had a very interesting spring, too! Anyway, I can't complain because I am not under water. I really feel for all of those who have really been hit hard! I know that our HP is handling our difficulties as He is in control. I can only try to do HIS will. I am very humbled this days. I don't know it all that is for sure! Now to all of you that are struggling with all that is going on with high prices of about everything. I know that times are hard; but there is always hope. And, by the way, even though it always seem to be all about me, I am concerned and care about all of you. In recovery, Kathleen
Happy Summer to you and your kitties. I, myself have always been a cold weather person. Heat and humidity don't mix with this old lady. But I do love the abundance summer can bring with the fresh fruit and vegetables.
It was 2 years ago this month that my area (NY) got hit with a very bad flood. We were blessed because it wasn't until October of that year that our place flooded. We were blessed because we only lost carpets. My heart goes out to all the people who are affected by this year's floods. It's hard to watch. It certainly does make you count your blessings. While life is a bit difficult at the moment, I most definitely don't have it as bad as some do. It's a good reminder to count my blessings. Our community did overcome the flooding. We had people come from all over the states to help us. Now it is our turn to return the generosity. Some how, some way the always manages to come out and make things better. I will say extra prayers for you and your family along with those who are affected by the flooding and fires in CA. Love and blessings to you and your families.

P.S. There is one other good thing about summer: we are that much closer to football season! GO EAGLES!
