As I was saying my son treats me like his A father did to me. I have told my some I am not afraid physcially-but mentainally an emotionally.I have not heard back from him in this regard---but no more playing tag on the internet with him. Enough already. I am really sticking to my boundaries....I am really sick and tried getting put down. I tell him I am to "old" for this and his reply is Oh Mom your not old.... so sympathic!
Good for you for sticking to your boundaries. It is the greatest way we can effect changes, for ourselves and others.
I understand the both of you "I'm too old" and "mom, ur not old" -- maybe kid is trying to be supportive by saying that. I know you mean you are not going to tolerate that behaviour anymore... . We deserve to be trated with kindness and respect and others won't get the picture until we make a big stink but it works! Stick with it, kcb!

Males have male characteristics in common just as women do. So there are natural similarities. What becomes different is the value systems we build in spite of those natural characteristics. Male saints are sooo much more looked up to because they are soooo much harder to come by...LOL Being a guy is hard work. Having to volutarily work at a value system that I learned in the program and from other areas of my life is real focus. If I just revert to what comes naturally I find myself acting out a roll in a scifi movie and I'm not talking about one of the astronauts or straight people!!
I also make derogatory remarks about males out of shame and discuss all the while identifying with the crazy and sometimes sick behaviors and thinking. I don't make remarks about women because I have no experience there.
