Things have been mellow and good lately. A little snafu with the bank, and changing accounts but I'm hoping that will be resolved without too much chaos. Still don't know if daughter graduated middle school and apparently they won't tell us until everyone is gone for the summer which I take as a bad sign but we'll see. Went on two kinda dates last weekend, one was a date, one more like just hanging out at the beach. I am still looking for someone with an IQ higher than my 13 year old daughters (it's pretty high even tho she doesn't show it most of the time). Or at least someone who can maintain an intelligent conversation. I have a couple of friends, could use a few more but most of the time my calendar is booked with stuff to do. Going to Charlotte to hang out at Carowinds next weekend and mom is coming the weekend after that! Can't wait but getting tired of cleaning LOL. I haven't seen her in 3 years and she has never been to my house so I want it to look it's best.
My drama is pretty small in the scheme of things. The A is in jail in PA and going to be extradited to NC as soon as he serves out his time there so he'll be gone for almost a year. I don't think of him very often anymore, I probably wouldn't at all if I didn't talk to his mom.
The kids are doing pretty good, making friends, today is the last day of school !!!!! I"M OVERJOYED!!!!!! I feel like my second job has been lifted. I'm considering moving, looking for other jobs that pay better, just putting out feelers. It's been over 100 for almost a week here which is crazy in August and unheard of in June. So life has gone on, I feel like I'm actually living it now rather than waiting for the other shoe to drop. My sanity has been restored to me!
Wow, CG. Good to hear from you. I love that lack of drama, don't you. I can spot drama a mile away now, which gives me plenty of time to steer clear most times. I was wondering how the excercize program was coming along. Still at it? I hope so. I'm working on getting more active too.
