Martin Sheen article

((((((Family))))),

I came across this article on Martin Sheen and how he dealt with his son Charlie's addiction.  Go to the aarp website: www.aarpmagazine.org and click on the article.  It talks about his own addiction, Alanon and AA.  I've always loved Martin Sheen (I secretly harbor a thing for his President Bartlett character! wink) and I like his strength of character.  By the way I am way to young be reading aarp! It was just by chance that I came across it! biggrin But the article is a great one.  I think it will help anyone who has dealth with addiction.  Love and blessings to you all.

Live strong,
Karilynn & Pipers Kitty aww

Waht a great piece. I especially liked the piece where Martin Sheen said he gave back the responsibilty for his life to his son.  I'm not sure anymore what I think clean and sober is, it certainly isnt just being drug free but I'm glad that Martin Sheen is happy.

I'm also glad he found solace in a 12 step program. For me al anon helped immensely.

(((KAR)))) How thoughtful of you to enter that link so we could all enjoy that article. I have to admit that I have had thing for that man for many years, I think it just deepened. LOL I even sent it to my AH who loves "President Bartlett" wonder if he will get anything out of it. Probably not but at least he has it if he wants to read it. I just enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing that!!!!
