It is with a heavy heart that I write this post tonight. Last night, my adopted mom, my very best friend's mom, died after a valiant battle with cancer.
We were blessed that she did not suffer very long and died as peacefully as someone with lung cancer does. I was so blessed to have her in my life. When we got to the end where she was told there was nothing they could do, I spent as much time with her as I could. Not rain nor sleet nor snow could keep me from doing what I needed to do to spend my time with her. She thought it was all for her but indeed it was also for me.
And so it is that I may be giving a eulogy on Friday at her funeral by the grace of God, my HP. I know if He brings me to, He will bring me through it. I so want to be able to give my wonderful friend/adopted mom her due.
Please keep me in your prayers and thoughts, Maria

I will be praying for you as you deliver the eulogy on Friday. Also praying for your friends family. Trust in your HP to help you through this, and give you the comfort you need to see you through this time.
Love,
Claudia

I am so sorry you have lost your "Mom" Maria. Even though we know they are in a better place, still we mourn their passing. The tears we shed are not for them, but for our broken hearts and our loss, and so it should be. If you are led to eulogize your mom, I know a divine guidance will be with you.
I am thinking of you, lending you my strength, and offering my prayers for you and for "mom."

Although I am far away, know my hugs are as real as can be. She got to go home, what a wonderful gift for her after having been such a blessing to you in your lifetime. Cherish your memories, no one can ever take those from us. ((Maria))
