Trusting HP

Is your trust in your HP today? Trusting in your HP is a decision we make just like we choose anything else in life. You chose what to wear today, you probably chose what you would have for breakfast, and you can choose to trust HP today, too! When you choose to trust YOUR HP, there is a peace that settles on the inside of your heart. There are blessings in store for you when you trust HP. No matter what you are facing in life today, you can have faith that HP will come through for you. Not only can you choose to trust HP in the midst of your difficulty; you can actually hide in Him and find rest for your soul. When the circumstances of life seem to be overwhelming, choose to trust that HP is ordering your steps. Find security in Him knowing that Hes making your crooked places straight and leading you into the everlasting life He has prepared for you!

I am definitely putting my trust in my HP today.

My AH and I have made the decision to go to small claims court to get our deposit back from our last landlord. She was supposed to return our deposit 14 days after we vacated her property. It has now been around 40 days, and when my AH called her to ask her when she's sending our deposit, she came back with a bunch of ridiculous spins:

"Oh, I forgot your last name. What's your last name?"

"I don't have your address... what is it again?"

"I have an $800 power bill. You need to figure out what you owe from it and then I'll send your money."

(There is NO WAY in the two or three months that we've left there that her power bill could have come back to her at $800!!!!)

So, my AH and I decided to not even do the tapdance with her any more. Her evasive questions were enough to tell me that she's going to keep putting it off until we just "give up". Until it becomes too late for us to legally be able to get our money back. So, we're going to go to small claims court to file a complaint.

And here is where I'm asking my HP to help us, guide us and protect us. I'm very nervous about taking things and putting them in the hands of the law. I get nervous that she'll try to countersue us and that sort of thing, so I'm just asking and praying like crazy today that my HP will keep us protected. Just trusting that my HP knows what to do.

the Paradox for me is of course when I turn it over that I have to do a whole lot of leg work. When I am wishing and obsessing I am standing still.
