Not my Alanon birthday, my real birthday!!! I have had people ask me "oh your 29?" LOL NO I'M 45 AND PROUD OF IT!!! I wouldn't want to go through all those years again, I am really right where I'm supposed to be!!! My A has run to the store, we are doing potluck dinner at his parents with the whole family. He is making our contribution....funny two years ago he would still be in bed recovering from the last two nights, that is if he had ever come home. Things are so different now, I think because I AM SO DIFFERENT. I am up for promotion at work, I have the managers support, the sales manager support, the general managers support, now just waiting for the owner to approve it. We are planning a VACATION this year, we have never went anywhere longer than two nights!!!! We are riding to Sturgis in August! 2 WEEKS!!! We are joining a local gym.....like I said things are so different, because I think I am different, I am constently changing me, I speak up and share my feelings, good or bad, I am so thankful for the incident nearly 4 years ago....throwing that phone at a drunk husband, going to jail and getting counseling with the recomendation of finding out what ALANON was all about!!!!
