Just wanted to wish you all a very HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING! I'm in the northeast and it's snowing like crazy! We've had a very mild, wierd winter here. Lots of ice, slush but not much in the way of accumulation. I'm a snow bunny by heart and the lack of snow has hindered my ability to go snowshoeing. I was able to get some in last week while on vacation but I had to go southeast to get it! lol HP certainly has a sense of humor. That's okay I ready for spring. A time of renewal. A time for Pipers Kitty to play outside and go mousing. A time to plan out my tomatoe and herb garden. In a few weeks it will be trout season! Watch out little fishes here comes hubby and I. Anyway I hope you all have a wonderful spring! Love and blessings to all of you and your families.

After waaaaaaay too much rain, flooding in surrounding areas I was elated to see the sun shine again. I saw a couple fat robins hopping around to let me know the flowers will be blooming soon. I'll be out fighting weeds in my rock garden. Which is the reason I made a rock garden, so I wouldn't have to deal with weeds. I place colorful pots of flowers in the rocks. Lo and behold, through the weed block material, the weed killer and the rocks, up jump the weeds. :)
In any case, I'll pick weeds in trade for getting rid of cold, slush and rain any day.

A day late...but Happy Spring to you, hubby and Pipers!! Out here in California...the hills are green and the wild flowers are blooming all over...spring has sprung :) love, rosie
