When high stress hits me, helping my very loved old dogs in their death, sobbing because I just lost my old man potted pig Walter yesterday, something is horribly heavy but I have to do it.
When I ran out to help tucker, there was Walter dieing.He is over 100 pounds.I prayed to Jehovah,please help me, I picked walter up it was sooooo hard. I held him on my abdomen, kept talking to my hp.
I got him into the house on my double recliner. Held him,soothed him. He was warm, had a full tummy, and inmy arms when he passed.
Truck hurts me to drive it...etc
I am spitting upset saying I hate my Ah I hate you I hate you.
I know it is from desperation, frustration, terrible sadness. I know it is not his fault.
anyway just wondered if you guys do this. hugs,debilyn who's hormone driven Barlow the turkey who is protecting his wife FeeFee,slapped his wing at me, broke a bone in my hand,elgin horse was so happy to see me he bonked his head hard on my face, Tucker goat crippled pygmy,rolled towards me hitting me hard with his horn above the lip,pinched my arm in the antique table leaf.
lol geez still would rather suffer this than neighbors so close you can hear them talking, things stolen from the front yard, slashing tires, fire works, yuck
I may have a fat lip,a bump on my head, a long blue bruise on my arm,broken bone,Have no strength at all BUT I am serene and thankful for alanon skills and mostly for my hp who is always there. plus I want to keep living....
I had to finally give up saying, "If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all." Actually If what I felt was happening 24/7 was really happening 24/7, then I'd have something to worry about. It's not! It's only my negative, poor Jerry perception.
Have some (((((hugs))))) and repeat these words, "This too will pass!!".
With 5 dogs, a cat, a bird, a rabbit and some odd fish, I can somewhat relate to your critter situation. There have been times when I have wondered how I keep up with my menagerie, but I have nothing on you!!
I give you a great deal of credit, those animals are so very lucky they have you to depend on. It must be hard when one of them gets sick or even dies as you have had to deal with of late. I'll be praying for your HP to give you the comfort you need to cope with your losses.

I am so very sad to hear about your Sunday. And I am so sad to hear of Walter's passing. You know what he meant to me. I am glad he was in your arms and soothed and warm and comfortable. Animals are such serene creatures and show us dignity and love.
Cannot say I do what you do, you are such a special person with these animals. However I can relate to the having to get something out of your system, whatever way is possible for one at the time. And I know that God will understand.
Had a really awful low weekend and have not been able to get myself sorted at all. Felt very down and empty, like I was all lost. So, honey, reading how you managed this weekend has made me realise that in the midst of life, death happens and then life still goes on.
Sending you hugs and love today and hoping that Elgin horse will be more gentle in the future.
