March Business Meeting Minutes!!


March Business Meeting Minutes:
 
MIP Business meeting, held March 2, 2008.
 
Chair opened meeting with the Serenity Prayer
 
1st thing on agenda was the Secretary's report:
 
February minutes were accepted as written.
 
Next on Agenda was Treasury report:
 
Dot was unavailable so it was tabled until next months meeting
 
Next on agenda:Old Business...None
 
 
New Business:Discussion on Faq's on bulletin board....
 
Chair asked for suggestions for updates on Frequently asked questions.
 
one suggestion was to write definition of ""CrossTalking "" on the board
We voted for it and was approved....
 
Topic was tabled for next month to have more feedback from members.
 
Next on schedule was OP Schedule

Discussion about chairing meeting was discussed and the availabilty
of them,.....
chair will send out email to op's asking to chair meetings as there are some vacancies.

Some new ops have not been getting the "group" emails sent out to all ops, as they have not been added to the list.  Chairperson suggested current ops compile a list of all ops and create a group in their personal email directories.  One member already had such a list and volunteered to send it to all the current ops.

General responsibilities were discussed. 

Chairperson reminded the group that no one may remain
idle in the chat room for extended periods of time. 
Guests have 3 minutes to sign in, and those signed in may
not remain idle more than 10 minutes.  Room moderators are
to remove those from the room who are idle for the protection
of those present.  Chair reminded everyone that if you are the
person removed not to take it personally. 
 
 
Meeting closed with al-anon declaration...


Next Business Meeting to be held on April 6th.
