I just want to give a message of encouragement to anyone who is feeling like giving up and running for cover.
Believe me, I know that feeling, I have been there and on many occasions I have been proved that I have been nearer to success than I have been to failure when I have experienced and felt the most loneliest person, lost, exhausted, how do I make it, I cannot go on, I can see the end of the tunnel and yet as I approach it the end seems to move further away feelings.
Believe me, it happens more times than not especially when we have been labouring long and hard and with every fibre in our bodies, with every brain cell we possess; that final 100ft to the summit of our own Mount Everest, seems as though it might as well be 5,000ft beyond our reach.
It is then that we must dig deep. Look into our moral fibre and pull out the stops if we are to reach our goal. And , often as not, we make it by the skin of our teeth, with the cheers echoing in our ears. We find that others are there, that someone has taken our baggage and is carrying it for us. We find that as we drag the last ounce of our strength from within our aching muscles and the very breath we breathe burns our lungs we pull ourselves up, stretch beyond our measure and make it, and in the blink of an eye we are achieving our goal as we painful, purposeful, masterfully pull ourselves to that summit with tears tearing at our very souls.
The elation, the superhuman effort that we seem to have made has been supplied by our friends, our carers, our supporters and with our own efforts that have been enhanced by our belief in ourselves and our God [HP].
There will always be moments like these for us to surmount. There will always be moments when we feel we will NEVER surmount them, however, believe me when achievement is within a hairs' breathe away, DON'T GIVE UP. KEEP ON PRESSING FORWARD FOR THE REWARDS FAR OUTWEIGH THE EFFORT, THE PAIN, THE SUFFERING THAT WE HAVE ENDURED IN ORDER TO GET THERE.
And shout, ALLELUIA, i MADE IT, when you get there, and listen for the cheer that goes up from all of us here.
