The material presented
here is not Al-Anon Conference Approved Literature. It is a method
to exchange
information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
As a Cognitive Psychologist, I know it as a Cognitive Behavioural tool; it is the study of how groups interact with each other, and with that is mind, this may be the PSI (Psychosocial Interaction) you are looking for. One studies the group dynamics, the factors that may affect the group and the interpersonal differences that will charge the group and promote a stronger bonding or a break up of the group.
It is a whole study of the complete person, and is applied to all walks of life, and all activities, both individually and corporately.
This was a huge part of my degree and I found it absolutely absorbing.
I also know of a clinical PSI which is related to the study and analysis of; Schizophrenia and that is Psychosocial Intervention in the Management of Schizophrenia.
P.S. I can only suggest that you google PSI - you will get a number of choices, but as I do not know what context you are applying this to, there is a huge range of possibilities.

PSI is the name of the actual group. All research I have done has found it to be very scary stuff. Before I throw out my concerns, I am just wondering if anyone here has had experience with it.

In that case I have NOT heard of a group by that name, I do hope that it is not another scaremongering group.
The only other three connections I know of is, psi as in computer terminology, psi referred to in the research of Paranormal Investigations, and psi as a chemical component.
