I just wanted to take a moment and wish you all a HAPPY NATIONAL ALMOND DAY! Okay, okay I know what you all are thinking. Karilynn has finally gone round the bend. No, I did that a long time ago.
I was having a bit of a rough day at work. Customers were driving me crazy, the boss had way too much caffeine, and one of my underlings accused me of lying. (I didn't.) So here I am talking to one of my customers and he says to me "Looks like you're having a bad day." Drat! I try never to show that side to my customers. So I apologized to him. He said it was fine and in honor of the moment he said no one should be upset on National Almond Day! Okay now I'm beginning to think I've really lost it. But he explained that he has a calendar with all these wierd national "holidays" on it. Today apparently was almond day. He said "Remember on this day we're all nuts!" I couldn't help but laugh and thanked him for it. It was just what I needed to snap me out of my mood. I finished my day with a grin on my face. Because according to him: WE'RE ALL NUTS! Finally it's not just me. It took the kindness (and wierdness) of a stranger to snap me out of my mood. HP I think has a sense of humor.
I'm not really sure what one does on National Almond Day. Kiss a squirrel? Eat Almond Joys? Don't know. Whatever you do make it happy and silly. If you're having a bad time, remember what this man told me and what he did for me. Maybe it's just enough to know that we are not alone. There are some strange strangers out there and they can make your day. So to my favorite Alanuts: Have a great weekend. Love and blessings to you and your families. Thanks for being a part of mine.

Thanks for the message. There are ton of lighthearted supportive people out there that come across our paths at a needed time. HP doing a goodness thru a new face.
Sure, its about us Alanuts finding HP's message of serenity "in all our affairs".

Wonder where I can get one of those calenders so I can begin to celebrate all of those obscure national holidays to. I could really use such a calender at my work too most days I need a good laugh!!
