The Power of Now.

This is Eckhart Tolle speaking of living in the NOW.  He has a wonderful way of explaining that we are not the things we have been through.    It is simply that, things we have lived through.  He also explains what the NOW is.
As usual I have to say this may be a bit out there for some... but then you don't have to watch it..lol

If interested there's more Eckhart Tolle on youtube.  He's awesome.

Brilliant Christy, just what I needed. Great angle on total unequivocal acceptance. Thank you for posting this, I had not heard of him but there are so many who bring a similar message: Krishnamurti, etc. it never grows old- its always so relevant to me. Hugs, J.

Christy - that was so interesting. Yes - I'll admit a bit out there - but if you can get in "the zone" and go with it - his message is so liberating. Reminds me so much of a philosophy course I took eons ago when I was in college. You do have to slow down and get your head around it. Thanks for the post. Very enlightening!

I'm glad you guys liked it and took the time to listen.  There is so much to be learned of the way we see things and the reality of it all.
All the garbage swirling around us is either accepted or rejected.  I do my best to reject it because that isn't who I am or who I want to portray that I am.
I don't want to wallow in it.  I don't want it to affect my spirit.  I want to see it for what it is and let it go.

I've read (studied) his books.  I don't think he is "out there" at all.  I think he is right on.  But I understand how some will think ... hmmmmmm

I honestly do not believe that life is hard, on a certain level. I make it hard. I work really hard to make it hard for myself. I mean things happen but I agree- there is this part of me who can just observe it all on good days (which are increasing thanks to this program and some other stuff I do) Guilt and shame are completely self-generated and are strictly human. I totally dig what this guy is saying and I really do not find him off in left field at all- now practicing what he is talking about is a whole different thing but its possible one baby step at a time, to develop this a little bit more and a little bit more. Progress, not perfection! I think goodness and love rules and is here for us NOW. Its me who pushes it away constantly through my own disease. J.
