My home is Potter's Eden. I post my updates to my piggy groups here once in awhile. Walter is a twenty one year old pot bellied pig.Sissy was his mate, both altered. Sis just died. he almost did. now he is in side with me.
dad don is my passed oh adopted moms husband.
He is so funny. Helps me keep my head ok.
I think I am crawling out of this dang depression. anyhooooo
Well Walter is living in El Bonita pero spa.I think that is pig?
Anyway he is definitely putting on weight again, his skin is sooooo moist and soft. one T of corn oil and one T of NEXT this oil horse blend, one egg, ww bread fruit or vegies,grain pasta, or whatever pig gourmet meal...then as I told ya stuffing his open mouth all day!! He gets regular br's and massage. I put this creamy vaseline lotion on him ooh nice. He has his own space now between the stove and my dresser,sleeping agaiste the antique floor mirror.
I am sure great grampa and grama never thought a pig would be using this mirror as a headboard!!
I cannot describe how great it is to have him in here.He has never been sure of himself.shy and depended on Sis.
It is so cool getting to know him. he gripes at first to go out to go potty but knows the drill now.When he wants back in he rubs his snouter real hard at the door! I love it!! He doesn't just go climb under covers with the other potted kids.
he is raising his snouter now to be kissed.I lay there with a pillow now and rest. (c:
His skinny round tail is bald with a bit of hair on the end.It really looks like a squiggly snake, I have two toddler age kittens, need I say more!!! Haha,they get all ready and pounce on it.He must like it as he wiggles it more!
Dad don and other friends helped me get my head straighter. The immensity of this almost had me down and under. I was so tired physically I could not work on my mental/emotional stuff.
Now I am changing the thoughts in my head to what my passed on loved ones gave me, their legacy instead of grieving their loss. I am thinking about who I can support now and love. I miss taking care of others so much. Was nice to go up and do stuff with and for mother and go to gmas and do for her.
Anyway Tedi rug dog is busy getting me up twice at night to go out, getting into the paper garbage, Hey he is blind and deaf, what else does hehave to do? Herbert basset is always on my bed so he is not having "accidents." in other words not wanting to go out to the cold he was making messes by the door.r rrrrr
Dad Don is such a nice person.He told me this story.He said he had this dream that the heater on his car seat was getting really hot!!! He woke up and his little dog sparkey was asleep by him peeing on his back! lollollol OH don is a crack up. He just bought himself this great Thunderbird, oh the ones with no roof. geez.
anyway I laugh at him becuz He would rather go off in his old torn up car so he can take his two huge dogs with him! A giant black schnauzer, and lab bear and Gretta his Rottie Mastiff monster.
He is scaring me though. I can tell when he does not feel good.He finally told me yesterday he did not feel good.I just called him and no answer so I will call again until I get him.He probably drove to the store with the dogs to get his hot drink and huge cookie. he gives the dogs the cookie parts and eatsthe chocolate...
He has lived in Gold Hill almost all his life. so everyone knows him. thank goodness becuz they keep an eye on him.
Anyway dang it is cold,windy and wet here and snow is coming.I think I better put elgin back into the barn instead of the horse port. Glad he has a coat!
Our little home is warm and cozy.We have all we need.Maybe this summer I will get my roof on right so we have the addition too.But at least I can be inside to do my wash and shower!! The roof in there leaks and so i can only insulate part where it does not. Then there is condensation on the ceiling! sigh.
But it is nice in here.
Well another storm is coming,thought the roof would blow off last night!! so I better gear up and feed. I got some more nice piggy blankets yesterday at the thrift store! everything was half off! NIce blankets for a dollar or two.ones they cannot shred! They all have their little beds like egg places in an egg container. divits in straw. they crawl in and i cover themup.i am feeding them in there too now.
HOpe you guys are all ok and keeping warm. I tell ya there is nothing warmer and nicer than sleeping with a basset hound...Perfect stays warm hot water bottle...love,debilyn
