gone for the holidays

The library where I go to use the computer will be shut for the next few days.   If need be I can go to kinkos and pay if I have a burning desire to connect so I am not totally at sea.  One of my goals is to go to a face to face meeting if I can squeeze in the time. I have downloaded the schedule and will make at least one meeting this week.  I have much to do and will not be lost.

I know for the past few years Christmas has been very very hard for me.  The first year I was here I spent all day in the chat room.  I was absolutely devastated and so so depressed. This room has been so very "there" for me in those three years. You have all carried me through so much, unemployment, chronic depression, emotional paralysis, blinding rage, fear, trepidation, chaos and crisis galore.   I have had very very little joy and love to share with you.  I have barely survived to get here. I am working on making this Christmas a peaceful loving supportive one for me. I'm carving out my own life, the one I was born for.

Thank you all so much for your unending support, care, compassion, frankness, authenticity and honesty in this past year.  I am so glad to know all of you and I look forward to 2008.  I can say that with some joy because I did not look forward to much at all during the past 3 years. I do know my life will be "better' in the time ahead.

My love includes licks and wags of the tail from my two special dogs, Pepi and Lucky.

Maresie.

Mary, most of the world does not celebrate manmade holidays. I don't but I still feel an ache inside when ya see all this family and loved ones stuff.

If you can, and you feel comfy, maybe just make your little room comfy with your critters and read, watch movies etc.

I usually love every day. Of course the dang lonly demon has to jab at me about my passed on loved ones.

However, I find if I keep things tidy, eat lotsa apples, oranges and other healthy food, spend time just goofing around with my animals,it all goes fine.

I guess being oblivious to what day it is most the time has its advantages!! lol cept I missed my doc app. becuz I thought it was Thursday and it was Friday.....geez

Anyhoo lady, I will be thinking boutcha. Don't ya believe, even though you are with the critters,it is sooo much better than being where you were last time this year?

hugs,debilyn

Hi Maresie,

Just want to wish you every happiness in the coming days and 2008.  I had a smile on my face when you told me the names of your dogs. I used to have a cat called Pepi and my very first dog was called Lucky.  I wonder if they have come back to watch over you.  I hope so.  Take care and we will hear from you soon.  LUv Leo xx
