update on son

((((((((((friends)))))))))))))

Thank you to all who prayed for my son when he went before the board of pharmacy in an effort to get his Pharmacists license back.  The outcome was not good, but I do know that God was in control none the less.  There is a new board president who has instituted a new law in that state, which is once a pharmacist's license has been revoked it could not be reinstated.  My son paid an attorney $3000 to fight this for him, but to no avail.  The only way he will ever get his license back is if and when that law changes.

My son was very disappointed, but handled the outcome very well.  He said that it must not be God's plan for him to be a Pharmacist, at least at this time.  He also said that he will now move forward and search in a positive way just what God has planned for him.  He has/had a good job, but is now laid off.  He was discouraged for a while and said he just couldn't seem to catch a break.  BUT, he then said he was very blessed and knew he would be fine.

I am more than proud of him and I, too, know that God's plan is bigger and  better than anything we could possibly imagine.  We just need to have faith and wait on Him.

I am so very thankful to have all of you who care about my son and me.  I hope I can give some of that back to each of you.

Love you,  Lexie

Lexie, it is very encouraging to hear of your son's faith as it is yours and I will continue to pray for both of you.  Our paths may seem bleak at times and heading in a direction we do not want, and it is sad that your son did not get his licence back.

However although we can only see a small part of the plan that has been mapped out for us, we seem to have a choice of many paths to take and, even though we may not turn along the path that has been marked out for us we only need to keep on going and ask for assistance to identify the path that is intended for us to take.

We have to do this by keeping faith; I am sure there is a 'pot of gold' for you to be found.  Who knows it may just be around the next corner.

Heartbroken.

(((((((Lexie)))))),

I'm sorry it didn't turn out well for your son.  I know how much he loves what he does.  Perhaps there is something else out there that he is meant to do. Congratulations on his sobriety.  I love hearing success stories.  It warms my heart.  Much love and blessings to you and your family.  MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Live strong,
Karilynn & Piper Claus aww
