Guys am on holidays, no shortage of drama, raging toothache, safe had to be fixed in room, had all passports, flights back etc, instead of a having a fit while waiting for repair man got on this site, love it, made a gratitude list instead of having a fit, this could have happened just as we were going home, then we would have missed flights, toothe is beginning to subside, and am going out to eat shortly, had a spare card with me so we weren´t completely broke, yes have coped with a crisis without going into a melt down, yea
good for you! Isnt it a wonderful feeling to see/know that it is possible for it not be a living hell if we work our program?! This is the best feeling in the world to me- to see the fruits of this. Congrats, your post is really inspiring to me- thanks for writing
And that is way I am here. I had a mini-meltdown. I can't find my wallet. So I did a HALT and figured that I am just plain tired. A gratitude list sounds great.
this time of year is rough.. holidays.. and other events for this time of year...
well this year added to the stress...
....my son passed away on Nov 7th from this disease... did a memorial here for him...
...my girl friend moved down to her mothers for a while cause she was having trouble dealing with my son's death because it has been two years since her son's death (18 mnths old) and this was bringing all those feelings back, and now her grand-mother is on death watch... I am doing my best to be paitent and give her the time she needs...
...and I lost my ring on Monday... this ring was special to me because I bought it as a symbol to my recovery to help as a reminder of where I am today.. it is a claudaug (sp).. the hands, hart and crown...
Well I worked my program for all three.. talking to people and going to meetings... glad to say I am getting thru it...
I turned the missing ring over to my HP this mornig.. after searching everywhere I had been on Monday to no avail... and the ring came into my hand (litteraly)... I picked up a bad where I had searched several times.. and it fell out of the bag into my hand... so I have to say turning things over works...
Now I have turned the other two situations over also.. and I will wait has patiently as I can for answers there to... moving forward and accepting I may never have any...
