My student has decided to go elsewhere for supervision and only for this board, I think I would be in deep trouble right now as in the last year, I feel I have grown and developed through this forum. I dealt with it in a very professional way and I did my best, acting as objectively as possible. I wish her well and I hope it all turns out the way she wants.
I met the council man in relation to the overpayment which miraculously shrank because I never throw anything away and could prove some of it was not due. Thank you HP. I can try for fieldwork and if I get it fine, its all legitimate and if not I will pay what I owe in instalments.
My village elected me on to the community council which surprised the hell out of me but pleased me very much and I hope to do a good job.
My work situation is unstable as the economy is slowing down here a lot and work is not as steady as what it was. Little things like parking permits are becoming impossible to get unless you have a cast-iron contract and the employers are starting to tighten up. Still if I can finish this year, I will be truly grateful. I've been through hard times before so if I have to get a job in a kitchen, I'm happy to do s, a jobs a job.
I am very grateful to all of you for your posts as they have given me a lot of perspective on my own situation and taken that edge of that isolated feeling, take care all.
