weirdfaceNo matter what I do I cannot enter the chat room and I thought it would be a good idea to go in to sit and listen and become a little more involved since it is NOT possible for me to go to f2f meetings.cry

confusedI have downloaded the software as directed but if I click on the link in John's chatroom information sticky I simply get kick off the sytem, the internet and the website completely.hmm

Have you tried clicking on the link from the MIP main page (Second tab from the left on the top of this page.) you can access the al-anon chat from the list of al-anon services. Also, do you have the latest version of java? www.java.com if you need it. Sorry, but that is all I can do :) Hope if that doesn't work someone will post what you need.

hi there,  you say you loaded java?... and still unable to enter.  please let us know the error your getting.  and if not an error and your just not able to enter...
... you may want to check and change a security setting to allow java  and or  you could have another security program..a pop up or other protection that needs to be checked out  so as to allow the program.
