Okay I just have to share this with you. You just sometimes wonder WHAT ARE THEY THINKING? Oh that's right, he's sober and male! EUREKA!
Well that's hubby yesterday and today. He's getting out his hunting gear yesterday afternoon and all of a sudden I hear what sounds like an air gun going off in the bedroom! I ask "What was that?" He then asks me to bring in the first aide kit. Oh brother I think. Well he drew back his bow string and let it go to test the resistence. But it snapped his arm because he didn't have his arm guard on! At least he didn't have an arrow in it! But he did have a nasty scrape on his arm and I applied first aide.
So today, he's in the bedroom and I hear "Oh no" and then he calls me. He's in his walker cast and it caught under the bed! So I now have to raise the bed so he can get it out from under it. I swear he's sober! He's like a little kid. I love it. Yes there are times when he drives me crazy, but then I do the same to him. Go figure. I wouldn't have it any other way. He can be a bit moody or grouchy, but then so can I. I guess I am just grateful that he sober and we can laugh. So if he gets into a bit of trouble, who cares? It's not like he's drinking himself to death.
I mean between him and Pipers Kitty bringing all sorts of "stuff" home, is it any wonder why I don't have children? My family is perfect just the way they are.
My point is love your A. His message to you today is to be strong, keep trying because it works. It's so worth it. Not a bad man I have here. Does anyone else have funny stories they would like to share with me. Humor is great medicine. I'm having a great vacation.

Yepper kari u gotta love Stark Raving Sober , hehe . I used to sit and watch my husb and think hmmmmmm who are u gonna be today ? We went thru a ton of plasticine , (cause he always wanted to learn to sculpt ) that lasted a few months then i came home and found a note on a bag . Know anyone who has kids ????? The next biggie was building ships inside bottles did that for a few months .:) Then he built the Bluenose from scratch , sails and all . which still sits in a case in our living room . That was yr 2 . 3 yr he started building planes from scratch then it was buying motors and remote controllers ,we ended up with 6 planes that cost a fortune . The gift ?it kept him sober and occupied , and the planes were a hobby that he shared with our sons for yrs . \ oh Yeah and it kept me entertained . hehe Enjoy Louise
No worries about the guns! He's safer in the woods.... well except when he falls off a cliff or comes between a cub and the momma! Oh yes there are much more stories where he's concerned, but I don't have time nor the space to tell you all! He's the best! Hey at least he didn't bring home a rabbit or a bird and put it under the bed for me to find. That was Pipers Kitty! It's just a matter of putting things in perspective. And yes, he could tell you stories about me too.

Glad to hear hubby is doing well. Mine is too. Just got to keep them busy. Mine is very busy right now supervising the contractor doing our house addition. And I do mean supervising lol. He has his nose into everything.
My family is perfect just the way they are.
