Just wanted to share some exciting news with you all. We sent back hubby's wheelchair this week! We have had this thing since April 30 and have made good use of it. But he hasn't used in since starting his physical therapy and it was time to go. He is still in his walker cast most of the time. But he has also managed to put his huntig boot on and does really well with it. He can come home pretty exhausted from his PT. This is the first time that he has ever had the ability to stand on his heel since he was born. He now has an arch and the sensation is a bit wierd. But it is a literally another step in his healing. It gives him a bit more freedom to get into the woods and just do the simple things like clean the car windows. He is also back on the road from his relapse. Like his foot recovery, I am staying out of it. He has his HP and I have mine. But it's nice to know that we are taking baby steps (in more ways than one). Now he can dink with Pipers Kitty outside. She still knows that at night he can't catch her. So being a rebellious teenager she's waits for me outside until I come home at night! Thanks for all your love and prayers during his surgery and recovery. Hubby extends his thanks and gratitude as well. Pipers will send you all a mice for being so nice to her Dadders and keeping Mom sane.

Congratulations to hubby for getting back on the wagon. He's very very lucky to have you and the kitty. We are very lucky to have you and your ESH as well. You are doing great. Keep the focus on you, your eyes on the prize

Hehe silly Maria! No I really did mean dink with Pipers. He loves to tease her and get her going. Whom do you think taught her how to catch a squirrel? You should see the mighty hunters! She's right beside him when he gets out his gardening tools or any tools. They go down to the creek together. She's almost "dog-like" when they get going!
