In reference to Becky's post about Keith Urban and Diva going ga-ga over Johnny Depp. Allow me to set the record straight. While I might go a bit nuts at a football game: GO USC, GO EAGLES, I assure you I would never get crazy. (Just don't talk to my friends Joanne & Kathy!) Johnny Depp is not my style (no offense darling Diva). I much prefer George Clooney, Cary Grant or Gene Kelly: suave, deponaire, sexy, athletic and slightly naughty. Hmmm..... sounds like the MIP men here. Notice a pattern?
Whomever or whatever your fantasies are, remember it's okay. Have fun with them. Have a wonderful Saturday all. Love and blessings to you and your families.
Live strong, Karilynn & Pipers Kitty

Fantasy? Karilynn, do you mean that JD is not really going to show up on my doorstep? Woe is me!!!
Yes, you are quite right. Fantasy is a healthy part of the psyche. Now about George Clooner, Cary Grant, and Gene Kelly. Yes, I always thought Gene Kelly was totally sexy. George and Cary, ok to look at, but no "bad boy" qualities I love to see.
Did you, by any chance see the Picture of Johnny Depp tipping his hat to a group of fans this week? My God, I nearly dropped on the spot!
OK detractors, this post is surely off the topic. But a little fun and humor is as important to all of us as any other facet of recovery.
Love to all,
Diva

I'm with ya on Johnny Depp . . . as far as the youngish and sexxxxy goes. But I'm hung up on Kevin Spacey, who isn't all that "cute" but seethes with some kind of mysteriousness.
I feel like in the aftermath of my exA that I couldn't get turned on by anyone . . . but it seems so healthy to find someone sexy and interesting (as long as they are at a great distance, for me anyway).
Any suggestions?
I adore George Clooney too, and man oh man is he a bad boy! And I'm waaaaay too old but Will Smith is just too cute too.
I'm all for a bit of fantasy. Off topic?? Yeah, well we all need to lighten up sometimes methinks.
George Clooney..............WOW!!!
Johnny Depp...........well I was walking along the marina here in Marmaris a few months ago and saw a guy I thought I recognised.......smiled at him and he smiled back.......THEN discovered it was Johnny Depp........too late!!! ARRGGHHH!!!
Wow, ladies, nice thread . Love it love it lovei it.
Ok so ummm, fantasy guy? I am gaga over Toby Keith. He is yummy! I think it is the bad boy thing. He is a bit more stocky than my hubby (ok a lot). And his hands, they make err umm melt. Add to that the guy can rock out (yes country men can rock) and that is one hot hot package (not that kind of package).
Sigh--- ever heard the song "Smokin Weed with Willie"? Once again I think my picker is showing how broken it is. That is the good thing about fantasy, that is all it is so it can't hurt you. And in my dreams he is a completely healthy man.
Ok back to cleaning. Thanks Karilynn for the thread. But the thread said nothing about who makes Pipers purrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
hehe
Yours in recovery, Mandy aka Dolphin

OMG you all crack me up. I could use some fantasy right about now...I actually made eyes today at a neighbor who refilled our water bottles that was shirtless, sunburned and had striped boxers (they were sticking out of his pants) It must have been the heat -- or maybe I just HOPED that would help make it our last boy scout popcorn sale. Oh but what is really burned into my mind is the fellow who answered the door in a towel, he must have been 70.
TY TY TY Christy for providing true eye candy LOL...
I can be respectful and dignified.. Unless Matthew McConaughey was standing in front of me. Then all dignity would go out the window and I'd be reduced to something that resembled a slobbering blob..lol.

I said how we treat each other. How you treat yourself is not my business. <evil grin>
I hardly think your slobbering qualifies as a safety concern. Unless you really slobber alot.

What makes Pipers Kitty prrrrrrrrrr.......? There are so many things: lying on top pf my head. Lying on Dad's tummy. Taking up all the room on the bed (for such a tiny puss, she's long when she stretches out). Bringing home a mouse, a squirrel, a mole, a bird, a rabbit, A BAT (I'm hoping she brings home a deer this season!), anything she can pounce on. Coming in for a Fancy Feast (a once a week treat) or treats. The colder it gets, the goofier she gets! It's quite the sight to see. What doesn't make her prr..... going to the vet! Thanks for asking Mandy. Pipers sends her love to all. She's out on patrol this morning.

OK, guys, I guess I'm a bit old fashioned and western too, but I can't believe nobody mentioned Sam Eliot or Tom Seleck. In a cowboy hat, they both make me ga ga. And I think they are even both reasonably healthy. Tho to be honest I wouldn't know. I really don't keep track of such things.

Didn't they change the uniforms for the officials? Those hate and trenchcoats where the best part of watching the game ! I used to laugh hysterically at they way they did that little move when calls where made !
Yeah, I watch game officials. What else do you expect from an ump ?

Bad, bad Bill is still in the background of my life. Doing my best to resist, day by day. This man is FABULOUS!!! That is if you like curly gray hair, bedroom blue eyes, a smile that can melt steel, and a "way" of looking through your clothes.
I daily ask whomever is in charge to give me the strength to stay far enough away!!!!!!!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAgh!
