Good morning! I was just skimming over hubby's new meditation book when I came across this passage. Then when I opened up my email, lo and behold here was the same reading. I'd like to share it with you. HP trying to tell me something?
"Practicing tolerance Everyone has a different opinion. No two people look the same. We are all different. Differences can cause us fear and set us apart from others, and we have no idea why. If addiction closes us down, recovery opens us up. In the program, we learn we are all more alike than we are different. We learn to look for what we share. We learn that we know so little about ourselves (let alone others) and that judgements are not helpful. Can I live and let live? Higer Power, help me to see myself in others."

Hmm..... words to think on and live by. Love and blessings to you all. Have a wonderful day.

I opened this email today, and quickly closed it. Thinking I dont' want to read about this today. Maybe it's precisely what I do need.
My wife is angery and very fearful right now. I guess I should be able to understand since it was my fears for years that kept me bumping my head into the wall hoping for her to change and trying to force her to change. I did that because I feared the result.
I don't think that means I need to tolerate her behavior but it does give me something in common.
