I just got back from having the echocardiogram. The tech said he didn't see anything (could he tell me if he did?), but he had to send the results to the cardiologist and I'd hear from them on Monday. Hopefully he/she won't see anything and hopefully they can explain why the size of my heart has changed. I was half-joking with a fellow-alanoner at my morning meeting, saying that it was the effects of alcoholism (from my A), lol. Who knows...sigh...
The tech really cannot tell you. The cardiologist must do that. But if the tech allowed that he did not see anything, it's a good bet all is well. Surely hope so.

"I was half-joking with a fellow-alanoner at my morning meeting, saying that it was the effects of alcoholism (from my A), lol" - I have noticed how physically ill people get when living with an alcoholic - even heard it in a lecture last night. I went to work this morning and one of the women in the office was told her blood pressure was high and there's lots of alcoholics at work. All day long I see them tell her what she is doing wrong. Hope you are taking care of YOU. Just said a quick prayer for you.
