Well, I started out ok then got a call from the realtor that my credit (mostly because of the truck the A lost GRRRRRRRRR) is not sufficient and they would need an additional month's rent for the condo. I asked him to please check my rental history and call those references and explained all the bad marks on the credit so he said he would talk to the boss lady and call me back.
He finally called back a little while ago and said my current landlord gave me an excellent reference and that he had talked to the boss and she wasn't happy about it but she decided to give me a shot!!! YAY!!
Sooo, I have to take off early again tomorrow and go down to sign the lease. I found a great daycare that's really flexible and the lady had watched my kids once before when I lived in the area. She's actually open past six and very energetic and takes the kids to the pool every day, feeds them dinner and makes sure their homework is done (contingency for the pool). She has openings and will take my kids and daycare assistance vouchers. This must have been where we were supposed to go! Not only that, all the kids will be back in the schools they were in when we first moved here and will know some of the kids! I'm so very very very excited I will have to try to post some pictures of the condo. Once I sign the lease it's all done! I'm thinking about leaving early and getting the daycare assistance out of the way too once I get the lease and perhaps even school registration.
The only obstacle I have left is to see if the people moving can be out a week early so we can move in prior to school starting, but then that would just be too much perfection!
Another plus, the place doesn't accept mail so I'll have to get a PO box and the A and his mom can contact us without actually knowing where we live! By the time he gets out I'll be long gone and he'll have no idea where to find me.
