lost her husband to cancer Wednesday afternoon.  This was one of the most amazing couples you could ever meet.  When she told me in Jan. they'd found cancer I was so angry, thinking how unfair this was...especially to happen to them.  She's been in program a long time and wouldn't even let me be angry for her, saying it "has nothing to do with being fair." 

Her husband was so charming, they'd been married 40 yrs.  She use to tell me that if she died before him, she wouldn't have to worry about him going hungry cause the ladies at church would be falling all over him, lol.  He was honestly the most charming, sweet, real man I've ever met. 

If you would include her in your prayers, and her son (who is currently sober) it would be so appreciated.

oh luna how sad. My adoptive dad lost my mom in Jan of this year after fortyone years of marriage.

She will be having a tough time. My heart goes out to her and his loved ones.
