I got the job I interviewed for!!!!!! It's about $1000 more a month!!!! Now I know I don't have to count on AH if he screws up again - I've had enough of it honestly - we'll see how he does - he sais we're going to the Open AA meeting on Sunday. I know it sounds rediculous in a way, but having this job will really back me up in enforcing all of my boundaries. Thank you for all the well wishes, and all of the advice abt how to deal with everything that's been goin on with AH. This place has really changed my life in such a short time. Sure I've still had a couple moments, but I can really see where I'm handling things way better than before. (((Luv&Hugz)))
I found a better job about 2 months ago. It was a long hard slog to get there. Like you I am relieved because finances are and still can be a huge barrier for me. I am in incredible debt but I can see my way forward sometime.
That's awesome!!! New job to go with new outlook. In my opinion, the people that "embrace" change will always have the advantage over somebody that just "accepts" change, and certainly over those that "fear" change.
I'm glad you've found some peace and relief with the new job. yours in recovery cj

That is fantaaaaastic news!!! This is a great example of making sure YOU are taken care of no matter what the alcoholic does. No matter what ANYONE does, for that matter! It's all about what you need to take care of you, kids you're responsible for, and THEN caring for others will be a pleasure. Well done, I hope you dazzle them the first day at work :D .
hey there ((gurl)) congrats on the job...way to go. Sending you lots of positive energy on your new adventure. Really happy for you. your friend in recovery, rosie
