I have not posted in a while, but want to ask for prayers for my husband.

In May he drank on a monday and again on a Tuesday. Tuesday afternoon we went out to eat and I could tell he'd been drinking, but he seemed fine. Then we were walking into the bank and he collapsed. He said his knees gave way. I got him to a couch. He did not want an ambulance...told me to continue my bank business. As we left...me practically holding him up, he said to go to the ER. I had to get a wheelchair to get him in. His BP was 60/20.  It took them 4 hours to get the top number up to even 80. He was in ICU that night and then the hospital 3 more days. Since then he's had heart tests, monitors, colonoscopy and upper GI.  The heart doctor said he definitely has cardiomyopathy...weak heart muscle from drinking. He also thinks he has at least 2 blockages. Tomorrow morning he checks into the hospital at 8 AM for all kinds of tests...especially kidney functions . They wre very elevated in May when he was in. Then if the tests show he can tolerate the dye, he has a heart cath on Monday at noon.

I am sure drinking and eating unhealthy foods and amounts has brought it all on. 

So please send prayers to MIKE.  We are both pretty scared about this one.

This is such a terrible disease, so destructive and so much pain. You and your husband are both in my prayers, him for quick healing and awareness and you for peace, health, strength and comfort.
