Even though she passed away in Aug 2007, it feels like yesturday. All of my other girlfriends live kinda far away and are busy. It's days like today where I am bored and just want to be happy and laugh and she's not there. If you are female you know what it's like to hang out with your buddy and just be happy because your with each other. Guys have guy friends like that too but it's more special for girls because it's so rare to find a good "girl" relationship. Tonight just seems like a night that her and I would got together and talk and laugh. I just feel so lost tonight. I loved the way she used to sincerely care and ask questions about my life. She really cared and always had positives things to say. She was far from the Betty Crocker type lmbo, she was a nut! She could have been a comedian. Where do you find that after you have lost it? I don't like this part of my life missing. I'm going to have to take up sewing or something to keep me busy. I don't talk to my husband about it because he can't understand how my best friend and I were and how much my heart hurts. Thanks for letting me get that out. God I miss her :(
I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am thinking of you during your time of loss. Losing a best friend is tough, tough, tough! I am sending healing prayers your way!
I know how hard it is to loose someone you love. When those moments get to me, I do exactly what we would do together. I do it in honor of them. It's like they are with me right there. The further out you get from the loved one's passing, the better you'll be able to handle those moments. I won't say it gets easier, but you'll be able to recognize them. The first year is so hard. For me, it's not the big days, like birthdays, holidays, that gets to me. It's the everyday moments, just like you're going through. Sometimes I just go with the moments. You learn to get through them. Talk to her. She's in your heart, so she's always with you. My Mom use to tell me that everytime I laughed it was her telling me she's still with me and loves me.
Love and blessings to you.
Live strong, Karilynn & Pipers Kitty

Thank you so much. That poem rings true. I think I'll feel a bit better when I finally laugh out loud for the first time again. I'll be waiting for that ;) My grieving for her will take some time. Thank you, all of you. xoxox
