I was hired to help cover a couple large accounts. Included in this coverage was marketing responsibilities. I was approached by our two sales reps and told they did not want me to contact their clients anymore. One of the sales reps mentioned that I've been in sales before and no one other than the sales rep has contact with the client. However, he wants me to call on potential clients and setup appts and answer his calls. I'm not sure how to handle this. My boss will not help me. I am looking for another job in the meantime because I will never be treated as an equal. I just want to be treated as an equal! I can't stand working there anymore. They want me to use my personal laptop because they don't have certain software. I told them no. I feel I am being used. I feel like screaming!!!!
Sorry you are having a rough time of it with these folks. I can't tell you what to do, but sounds like a good time to use ".... the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."
I often have issues with my role at work, and have had to make peace with what I am responsable for, and what I have read into what they ask. If it's over the mark, I just have to tell them so and go from there.

I agree with rtexas. We sometimes must swallow hard and make peace with it all. But in the meantime, I would be sending out my resume'. SOrry this is happening. I know how frustrating and maddening that kind of treatment can be.
