To all the MIP mothers: HAPPY, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! May your day be filled with love, laughter, sunshine and your favorite foods. Thanks for all your love and support. Raising a family isn't easy under the best of circumstances. You all do it with grace and courage. What an inspiration you are to all of us.
For those of us whose mothers have passed on, remember they are still in our hearts. Take a moment look to the heavens and say "I love you Mom. Happy Mother's Day. Thanks for being a part of me." I like to think that my Mom is getting together with all the other MIP mothers and looking down upon us. They are smiling and swapping stories (please don't tell them the story about me running away from ballet class) and marveling at their children.
Pipers Kitty (on behalf of all the other animal family) would like to take a moment and wish all the Moms a Happy Mother's Day also. She thanks you all for picking up after the chipmunks under the bed (eventhough that was Dad's job), making sure we have enough treats and toys.
Love and blessings to you and your families MOM. WE LOVE YOU!
Live strong, Karilynn & Pipers Kitty

Favorite foods, I like that Just yesterday a friend and I were talking and I said I don't care if I don't go out to dinner as long as on Mother's Day I get to eat what I want to eat - even if I have cook it LOL. Cooking what I want is rare at my house, I like "real" food .... The kids are going to hate dinner!
I hope to go by to visit my mothers grave tomorrow...I just haven't been able to make myself do that since she's passed. hmmm Still haven't figured out where to put all those feelings. I'm sure my mom's telling yours how I swallowed a nickle late one night on one of our family camping trips and had to go to the emergency room for an x-ray, LOL. From then on I was worth at least 5 cents hehehe.
Sending special wishes back to you, as well, dear friend. I hope your day and all the mother's out there have a special day filled with many blessings. Thank you for you sweet ways Kari.....you are special.
Being the mother of an A is a difficult place to be on Mother's Day. It is often filled with disappointment and heartache. They had their first child this year so it is his partners first Mom's Day...she won't recieve so much as a card becasue the attention and focus is always on himself and getting his own needs met. I cana't get into the (((Happy Mother's Day))) thing. I feel irresponsible having chosen an A for a partner and chosing to have a child. Genetics are a powerful thing, I handed my own child a life of challenge and heartache for his own family. Mother's Day is a painful day. I realize that there are all kinds of great little slogans but I can't think of a helpful one right now. Sorry to be such a downer for all you grateful Alanons
