I have finally admitted I am "Obsessed" with the A in my life. For a long time the word obsession was scarey to me....I have Obsessional Compulsive Disorder (OCD). But I thought It was related to objects, not people...lol
So I have been watching my behaviors and YES, I am obsessed with this person. I was always ashamed to admit it, because, I have heard of people being obsessed and it was ugly...Like being a stalker, and I didn't want ot be that..lol
Remember "Fatal Attraction" the movie....WOW. Is that what we are like..Only I don't plan on killing anyone...lol (yet).
So this Is a huge discovery for me. I also thought being obsessed with someone meant you were not in-love with them. I know I am..But right now It's not returnable.. So all I can do Is work on my obsessions. Try to find out WHY. I do this.
Welcome to the club! I am so glad you said that being obsessed does not mean you are not in love. That struck a chord in me. Hearing things like that make it possible for me to recognize that despite what anger, hate, sadness, resentment, etc,I feel I can still love him. I am sorry you have to be in the club but at least we're not alone......much love
I am in the club too :) Fighting it everyday !! I didnt want to admit it either but I saw it in writing too and it woke me up !! I read a book that even said that we are as addicted to our A's as they are to alcohol. Not good.. If you admit then you can work on it ( at least that is my thoughts..)
I'm not sure if your joking or if you are dead serious. This boarderlines on crazy. Maybe you could find some support groups for OCD. Its not healthy and a bit on the scary side. Good luck hun.
You are not alone! I have know for a while that I'm obsessed and very much in love with him. It scares me cause I love him so much and I can't think about him not being in my life! I pray every chance that I get that my HP will give me serenity! Just keep on working your program and everything will work out for you! Best Wishes!
Your post is exactly what I needed to read tonight. Thanks. And regarding the comment about being "borderline...crazy"....well, let's take a good look at our situations. We're not crazy...just crazy about a person who is sick.
