I now have to go to court on Wednesday despite the fact I have moved out and been gone from the flat/apartment for 6 weeks. I have to do that in order to protect my credit/record in ever being able to rent again. Needless to say the A has not left the apartment yet. He's moved some of his stuff but not all of it. Needless to say he is always saying he is going tomorrow.
So so far I have had my truck wrecked and am in a real quandry about getting it back legally. He hit me the last time I asked for it. Now I have to face having my credit and future housing ruined.
And needless to say he still continues to sing its all my fault whatever it is it is my fault.
And needless to say his freeloader friends are still there. I am detached, I am not enraged (which is a miracle but says a lot about what 6 weeks away from him does). Nevertheless I am fed up.
Way to take care of yourself! If court is what it takes.... well, glad you are taking care of it.
As far as him hitting you the last time you asked for the truck... THAT is just totally unacceptable. As a guy that makes me furious. I just was taught that is not ok, I don't care what is going on.
I am glad you have your distance, and if there is any legal recourse for getting your hands on that truck, then I would look into it. I know it's a hassle, but it would allow you to know your options.
You are in my prayers.
Take care of you!

i am just so happy you are out of the apartment/flat and do not have to be around this person (ape, arghhhh) anymore than necessary. AND.... *Good for You* to go to court to get the credit stuff clear. in this way you're positive his actions are not going to and will not be effecting You and "your future." Which is after all, the most important to and, for your own peace of mind.
Keep your chin up. your taking care of you. ((Maresie)) your doing great! This too shall pass. (i know you may not want to hear that, but it is true.) See how fast the last 6 weeks have flown by.... and your doing just fine.
Keepin it Simple. Keep turning it over to HP/God. Focus on doing those "little things" for yourself that are helpin to keep you in the moment. hope the job thing is going well for you too. Independence can be sooo freeing in many many ways. Keep Looking... the right one will come about.
