He is so emotionally fragile that I can't share the burden of anything with him. If our finances suck (which they do, in a very scary way), it is my responsibility. If I am feeling low, afraid, lonely, mad...my problem.
Last week I wrote about how he has recognized that he reacts too strongly to how I am feeling. Well recognizing and taking action are 2 very different things.
How do we take care of ourselves without having to act as though they don't exist? He complains that I am controlling, but he doesn't take responsibility for anything! He can't even manage to take the f%*ing trash out!!!
Stop going to the Hardware store for bread - but hey guess what YOU STILL NEED BREAD.
Although your AH is emotionally unavailable and not helping you out financially - You still have needs. What can you today for YOU.
Take care of you & decide what is best for You & your daughter for Easter - You have the option to not wait on other people to decide your plans. You can decide to do whatever you want. Recovery is one day at a time and changing the other situations in your life can also take place One Day at a Time.
Do what you can do for you today to make your life better.
