When I first heard this song I was reminded of all the wonderful people in this program that kept me going on days I was sure I was going to die. My pain was huge, I'll never forget it. I remember telling someone as I sat on the steps of my deck that I really thought I was going to die from the pain-- but I didn't. I was constantly reminded I wasn't alone, that I had others that were there for me, that were willing to listen and help me walk thru the pain and into a life that was so much better. Makes me cry to think about how much love there is in this program. Whatever it is that you are feeling .... there truly are those of us who have felt that same. You aren't alone. Love you all !
Hey! Wouldn't that be a great theme song for this board! I kept telling myself through our ordeal (my recent posting) to hang on, stay strong for my son. After all the hospitals etc., I came home, then let myself cry, shake, etc. I know it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but when it's your child... I'd rather go through it all for him. Co-dependant or what?? LOL! Thanks for the post, Love TLC
(((((luna))))) you don't know how much I needed to hear that today. Thanks for the reminder that I am not alone. We need to remind each other of that every single day, often. Best of wishes to your son TLC. Love in Recovery, Becky1
