First real poem I did--"ONE DAY AT A TIME"

ONE DAY AT AT TIME

We only have one day at a time.
To think of more would be a crime.

To hurt ourselves with useless worry.
Just makes us stressed, tense, and hurried,

If we could only see that living in today is all we are promised,
Oh Lord we pray.

Then we might not have to cry or go astray.

Just trust in the Lord with all your heart.
And He can give you a brand new start.

Nice poem! I too find writing helps me cut through the carp and see things more clerly.
