I'm starting to see a little bit again. At least today I know I am on the right website
I saw the doctor yesterday and my vision was 20/200 not a good number but a vast improvement over last week. It is extremely frustrating that the cause of these episodes has not been found yet and that the doctor has not been able to see me immediately when it happens.
I'm sticking to places that are familiar to me and am amazed at how much I can remember about places and how to get around.
I miss reading the most, but have kept busy. We got about 20 inches of snow this weekend, Sully was so HAPPY!
Anyway i'm goin to try to read some posts and catch up. I hope you all are well and happy.
jen you must have heard me wondering how you were. I was going to write ya a post last night of a where are you jen. But forgot again. sigh old age ya know?
haha well poop. Do you have seizures? I missed the info about your ephisodes, do you mind sharing to us again?
Oh Sully you silly dog, I bet he/she forgot....loves to play. I wish you could bring Sully to play with Sauvy. He needs a playmate but i do not want another dog. NOt at all.
Well it is good to see you here. I hope your sight gets better. You can enlarge all posts right?
My condition is called optic neuritis. Basically something is causing my optic nerve to swell and damage itself. It's been about 5 years since the first time, and happens several times a year. This one has been particularly bad compared to the last couple of times. Glasses don't help because my vision can change on a daily basis. The doc's have ruled out cat scratch fever, thyroid, and diabetes. Which leaves MS as the most likely cause.
Last year when I filed for divorce and my AH quit his job, I lost my insurance. I have not been able to afford or get insurance that will accept my condition and all the bills that go along with it. So thinga are a little rough right now, there are some programs to help and my docs are waiving some fees. But that is a whole nother story LOL
I wish Sully could come play with Sauvy too, he needs more interaction with other dogs. He's afrid of other dogs he does not know, and barks and puts up a stink, which of course being 150 pounds and LOUD scares the other owner's half to death. My eyes aren't helping this, if i can't see what is coming at us I don't know how to react with our training ERRR. I'm grateful he's got some playmates to wear him out.
