For as many years as I can remember, I have wanted a Mustang. The car, not the horse....Well, today I went out and bought myself a gorgeous dark metallic blue one with two wide white stripes all the way up the trunk lid, over the top, and down the hood. THis is a classy machine. I spent my own money. Didn't ask him for a cent. I never do. He doesn't like the car. He says he wouldn't drive it. Says it belongs on a NASCAR track. He is annoyed because he wanted me to buy a Chrysler Sebring. OK, that's a nice enough car, but I wanted the damned Mustang!!!! Why is it always all about them? I can tell all of you, he is going to try to make me miserable over this decision. Already, they dealership forgot to give me the remote control. Shouldn't be a big deal. He says I'll NEVER get it from them. Yada, yada, yada, on and on and on. I just want to say, "SHUT UP!!" I hope he never places one single finger on my car or one foot in it. I can see that this car could possible ring the death knell for our relationship. All I want is to enjoy my little car without all the selfish pouting.

Sounds like you need to get into your classy little car and drive off into the sunset.

My AHsober will pop every bubble. Too expensive, too much, too stupid, don't like it, blah, blah, blah. Good for you! I can see you now - window down, hair flowing in the wind, and a big smile on your face.
WATCH OUT THE SEXY DIVA IS ON THE ROAD! WOOHOO! Now maybe you and Bad, Bad Bill can go out on a date! I for one think it's awsome that you did something so spectacular for yourself. Why not? You've worked hard for your money. You deserve it. It's not like your letting your family starve to death! Let him ramble on, and on. Have a blast! Becareful of Mr. if you and Bill are "parked".
Love and blessings to you and your animals. Bet you Baby can't wait to go for a ride.
Live strong,
Karilynn & Pipers Kitty

SO GOOD TO HEAR FROM YOU !!!!!! i am happy for you and your car. someday i want an old pick up. one with the round front. when i find it and buy it , i know......., ALL HELL WILL BREAK LOSE !!!!!! i would like to know......., why do we always let it be about them? why can't we just simply say......., " SHUT UP''.
Diva not sure where all this is coming from but to me it seems to be an issue of control of money and who has it. Not really about the car at all. Just from your posts I gather that you are very financially independent in your own right. Can the same be said about your A? No need to reply to that on here for obvious reasons. Enjoy your new car you have earnt it. I think your A is feeling a little powerless in all this and showing his own vulnerabilities. ((()) Luv Leo xxx

Rofl – Of course, I am confused!
Let me review this to see if I have this correct?
You have a Hot_ New_Car
And
You have Bad_ Bill - with_it??!!!
If so, you are letting what bother you andwhy?
Tea wonders if she buys a new car, if there’s a Bad Bill added as an extra option?
Isn't it an A trait to criticize no matter what. I spent all day cleaning and the A always has something to say about it. I expect it now and take none of it personally. I always took it so so personally.
